Meet Pastor Michael Joynt
Mike was born and raised in upstate NY, the 3rd of 5 children. He met Beth and they got engaged at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire , from which they both graduated in 1989. While attending the University of Buffalo law school and through the grace of God , Mike and Beth became LCMS members, and were married in July 1991.
Upon graduating from law school, they moved to Chicago where Mike went to work for Ayco, a financial consulting firm, and Beth taught middle school. Their eldest son, Matt was born in 1996, just prior to Mike’s job transfer to Detroit , MI .. On Labor Day of 1998, Tom was born. They began to foster children in 2001, which eventually led to the adoption of Anna and Jackson. In 2003, they moved to Fort Wayne, IN in order for Mike to attend Concordia Lutheran Seminary.
Throughout all of their lives together, they have been richly blessed. He has blessed them with each other, their children, but most especially faith in Jesus. Now they feel particularly blessed to be in Yuma.
